Like a sudden storm catching a calm sea, Ileana D’Cruz described the emotional turbulence she faced after her second pregnancy. The actress, known for her unique presence in Bollywood and Tollywood, recently shared how welcoming her second son, Keanu Rafe Dolan, was much harder than her first. While she embraced motherhood with her first child, Koa Phoenix Dolan, the second time left her confused and emotionally drained.

Ileana revealed she felt isolated after giving birth. “I was very upset when I gave birth to my second child. I did not get support due to the lack of close friends,” she said. Unlike her first pregnancy, where she could cope, this time she struggled to adjust. She focused on her baby’s health and nutrition, but her own mental state felt unstable and overwhelming.

Living abroad added to her challenges. Ileana said she missed Mumbai, a place where friends and familiar surroundings would have helped. “A friend’s support in Mumbai would have made it easier,” she admitted. Being away from home made the first few months even tougher, but she stayed determined to care for her child and keep the family strong.

On the personal front, Ileana and Michael Dolan married in 2023 and are now raising two children abroad. Professionally, she last appeared in the 2024 film Do Aur Do Pyaar with Vidya Balan, Prateek Gandhi, and Senthil Ramamurthy. Ileana said she will consider returning to acting only once her children are older. Her candid sharing shows that even celebrities face struggles quietly, and that motherhood, with all its joys and hardships, can be deeply challenging.
