IndiGo has been in full crisis mode this whole week. Flights getting cancelled left, right, centre, people sleeping on airport floors, some stuck for days. Thursday alone saw around 550 cancellations, which is insane. Friday wasn’t any better. And in between all this confusion, Tollywood beauty Mehreen Pirzada, who has amazed Telugu Fans with hit movies like F2, F3 ended up right in the middle of it. She didn’t sugarcoat anything.

She jumped onto X and basically said, “Enough.” She blasted the airline for showing “on time” on the app and then quietly cancelling flights at the last second. No proper info, no warning, nothing. She called it negligence, not some cute technical glitch. And honestly, the tone felt like someone who’s been pushed way past patience. Her post went viral in minutes because a lot of stranded passengers felt the exact same thing.

The film industry also got dragged into the mess. A bunch of actors and technicians had shoots in other cities, and because flights kept disappearing, several schedules just collapsed. Some productions had already locked important combination scenes, booked sets, called in people, and then boom, no flights, no actors, no shoot.

Word is even big-budget units took a hit. Lead actors couldn’t make it back to Hyderabad on time, and the delay is costing production houses heavily. With IndiGo still fixing whatever’s going on internally, folks say the whole chaos might take a couple more days to settle. Until then? Everyone’s just stuck, frustrated, and refreshing their apps every hour hoping their flight doesn’t vanish again.
