"I Come to Success Meets Only When a Film Is Genuine Hit"

Senior actress Indraja has highly praised the Telugu film Anakapalli and said that the movie for sure deserves more theatres. She made these comments at the film’s thank you meet held on October 6.

Anakapalli is directed by Khagesh Tammineni and features Vikram Sahidev and Sandhya Vasishta in the lead roles. Tarak Ponnappa plays the antagonist. The film is produced under Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives and Trinadha Rao Nakkina has provided the story and screenplay.

The movie was released in theatres on October 2 and has received a positive response from audiences. The makers organised a thank you meet after receiving encouraging feedback.

Speaking at the event, Indraja said, "Anakapalli has achieved real success. That is why I came to this thank you meet today." She also expressed her disappointment over the limited number of theatres given to the film.

Indraja said, "It is sad that such a good film did not get the right number of theatres. Everyone who watched the movie is saying that it is good."

She felt the audience was mainly interested in the quality of the film rather than the names of the actors or filmmakers. Indraja said, "People are not thinking about who is in the film or who made it. They are only looking at whether they like the movie and whether it is good."

The actress also hoped that Anakapalli would get more screens in the coming days. She asked people who could not watch the movie in theatres to watch it when it arrives on OTT.

Indraja said, "Please watch our movie on OTT as well. But then you may feel that you missed watching it in theatres. Our film is that good."

Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina also spoke about the response to the movie. He said that he had not invested money in the film and his name was used because audiences may be interested in watching it.

He added that the film was receiving good response from different areas and that the performances of the artists were also being appreciated.

Producer Lagadapati Sridhar expressed happiness over his son Vikram Sahidev getting the opportunity to lead the film.
