Irumudi Creates Box Office Sensation With Strong Monday

Ravi Teja’s latest film Irumudi is showing strong performance at the box office. The emotional family drama has continued its successful run even after the opening weekend. The film has attracted audiences in large numbers, especially in the Telugu states.

According to the latest trade figures shared in the provided reports, Irumudi collected around Rs 11.90 crore in India on Day 4. The movie recorded strong occupancy across its shows on Monday. Its total India net collection has reached around Rs 62.40 crore, while the India gross collection is reported to be around Rs 72.50 crore.

The Telugu version is mainly driving the film’s business. On Monday, it reportedly collected around Rs 11.87 crore from 2,658 shows, with occupancy of about 68 percent. The Tamil version added around Rs 3 lakh from 75 shows.

The film had a strong weekend before entering Monday. It crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India within its first three days. Though Monday collections were lower than Sunday, the drop was expected because of the weekday. Still, the film managed to maintain a healthy pace.

The occupancy pattern also shows good audience interest. The film recorded its highest attendance during night shows. Morning shows started with lower occupancy, while afternoon and evening shows gradually improved. This indicates that audiences continued to choose the film even on a working day.

Another interesting point is the advance booking trend. Reports indicate that Day 5 bookings are also looking strong across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Several shows have already recorded very good advance sales, giving the film a positive start for its next day.

The movie is directed by Shiva Nirvana and presents Ravi Teja in a different role. He plays a father who takes up the sacred Ayyappa Deeksha after his young daughter makes a request. Priya Bhavani Shankar is the female lead, while Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar and Sunil are also part of the cast.

The film’s emotional storyline and Ravi Teja’s performance have received a positive response from many viewers. His fans have especially welcomed the movie and supported it strongly in theatres.
