Karan Johar Plans To Remake His 'Kill' In South!
It is 'Kill' which got international praise and is racing towards becoming a blockbuster.
Bollywood has been going through a dry spell over the past few months but there is one which is getting a lot of rave reviews and turned out to be a decent commercial venture as well. It is 'Kill' which got international praise and is racing towards becoming a blockbuster.
Backed by Karan Johan and Apoorva Mehta's 'Dharma Productions' along with Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain's 'Sikhya Entertainment', this film is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala are the lead actors in this project.
The latest reports claim that Karan Johar wants to remake this film in the South. He will be collaborating with another big banner and is looking for the best options to play the lead role. This remake is expected to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Apparently, Sudheer Babu and Kiran Abbavaram wanted to get the remake rights but Karan is keen on bankrolling it himself alongside another producer.
'John Wick' director Chad Stahelski is going to remake it in Hollywood as the deal is signed already. We need to wait and see who becomes the hero of this racy action thriller in the South. The film's synopsis on TIFF reads, “A passenger train bound for New Delhi becomes a bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat as a pair of commandos square off against a 40-strong army of invading bandits.”
