IT Raids On Producers: Houses Done, Offices In Scrutiny

As we reported earlier, the IT department is going supremely hard on the leading producers in Tollywood, Dil Raju and Mythri movie makers. After having completed the search operations at the properties belonging to Dil Raju and Mythri Naveen, Ravi Shankar and Cherry, they were all taken to their respective production offices.

Apparently, the primary line of investigation on Dil Raju is regarding the foreign collection of his films and the adequate tax remittance for the same. He is being questioned about the overseas theatrical returns of his films, and whether or not certain taxes were paid on the same.

On the other hand, Mythri movie makers are reportedly being questioned about the box office performance of their recent films and the subsequent taxation models.

There are media reports that certain documents were confiscated at the official residences of both Raju and Mythri movie makers producers. This led to attend situation at the premises, but it is being heard that the senior professionals are still pretty much relaxed.

It is strange to see the leading producers of Tollywood all coming under the radar of the IT department, all at once.

While Dil Raju was taken to his office in Sri Nagar Colony in the vehicle belonging to the IT department, the same happened with Mythri as well. Both Ravi Shankar and Naveen were taken to the Mythri office and certain questionnaire is happening here as well.

It appears that the search operations at the houses of the celebrities are done and the searches at their offices are underway now.
