"They Never Saw the Actor in Me" Says Komaram at Irumudi Event

Jabardasth fame comedian Komaram has shared an emotional story about his long journey in the film industry. He spoke about his struggles, the lack of opportunities and how the film Irumudi gave him a new identity. His words at the film’s success meet touched many people.

Komaram said that he has been part of the film industry for more than 18 years. However, for nearly 12 years, he was mostly seen in the ‘Komurakka’ lady get-up. According to him, people started identifying him only with that character and did not notice his acting talent.

Speaking emotionally, Komaram said, "I have been in the industry for more than 18 years. For the last 12 years, I was limited to the Komurakka lady get-up. Everyone saw me only in that get-up and made fun of me. Around 15 people who stayed in the same room with me and were my friends have now become directors. But none of them remembered the actor in me. Nobody even thought of giving me a small opportunity."

Komaram said that director Shiva Nirvana changed his life by trusting him with the role of Nagulu in Irumudi. He explained that he was initially unsure about the role. But when he learned that he had to fight with Ravi Teja in an important scene, he became nervous.

"I never did fight scenes before. When they told me that I had to hold Ravi Teja sir's collar and fight, I was scared. But they trusted me and gave me this role. That one character changed my life," Komaram said.

He also revealed that people are now calling him ‘Nagulu’ wherever he goes. He said that he has already received offers from several leading production houses.

Komaram also praised Ravi Teja. He said, "There are many heroes in the industry, and every hero has different fans. But Ravi Teja sir is loved by fans of all heroes."

He added that Ravi Teja supported him during the action scenes and made sure he was comfortable. Komaram thanked the entire team of Irumudi and said the film brought happiness to his wife and children. For him, Irumudi is not just another film but a turning point in his life.
