In recent times, rumours have come out that veteran star Jagapathi Babu, who got super busy in his second innings as a dependable character artist, is taking many takes to wrap a shot. Some rumours started flowing that he has taken almost 72 takes to perfect a shot in Peddi, and that went viral in no time. When quizzed, the actor, however, slammed them all in his trademark style.
“There are some barking dogs that say whatever they like. There is no iota of truth in that. Why would Jagapathi Babu take 72 times to perfect a shot? Usually, I take one or two takes to perfect a shot. Any other seasoned artist would take a maximum of 3 takes only. I’ve never taken more than 3 takes for any shot. Even in Peddi’s climax scene, the entire four-minute sequence is finished in a single shot by me. Don’t believe in such rumours,” said Jagapathi Babu, slamming the rumour-mongers for their creative creations regarding the number of takes he will take for a perfect shot.
Jagapathi Babu is actually aggressively promoting Peddi movie, which is usually against his style, as he won’t do many interviews during film promotions. This time, he’s expressing huge confidence that the film is going to turn out into a mega blockbuster and Ram Charan will be remembered for a long time to come.
