Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu gave an emotional and entertaining speech at the grand pre-release event of Peddi in Vijayawada. The actor shared his connection with the city, praised the film’s team, and expressed confidence that Peddi will become a huge success.

Greeting the audience, Jagapathi Babu said, "Namaste Vijayawada. You are not ordinary people. You successfully brought the entire Peddi team here and especially Ram Charan. Thanks to the MP garu for organizing this wonderful event in such a short time."

The actor revealed that Vijayawada holds a special place in his heart. He said, "I was born in 1962 at Sarojini Devi Hospital near Benz Circle. I know this city very well. I spent many holidays here, enjoyed the food in Governorpet, and grew up with the people of Vijayawada."

Talking about the movie, Jagapathi Babu said, "It is as true as my birth in Vijayawada that Peddi will become a big support for the industry, distributors, exhibitors, artists, and everyone connected to cinema. This movie will go to another level."

He also spoke about his role in the film. According to him, "After Aravinda Sametha, it took me eight years to get such a powerful character. I do not know how Buchi Babu imagined Appala Suri, but I believe this will be the best character of my career."

Praising Ram Charan, Jagapathi Babu said, "Ram Charan will show his Mega Power in this film. Every shot is like a sixer, and the audience just has to catch it." He also recalled a conversation with Megastar Chiranjeevi, saying, "Chiranjeevi garu once told me that Charan is not only successful in talent and career but also successful as a human being. I see that goodness in his eyes and behavior."

The actor also praised director Buchi Babu, calling him an extremely talented filmmaker. He appreciated A.R. Rahman, cinematographer Rathnavelu, producer Satish, and actress Janhvi Kapoor for their contributions.

Ending his speech, Jagapathi Babu said that working on Peddi has been one of the most memorable experiences of his life and that he believes it will become both his best film and his best character.
