How Nelson Handled 75 Yr Old Rajinikanth’s Love Track With Vidya?

Director Nelson Dilip Kumar is one of the most talented filmmakers not just in Tamil Cinema, but also all across Indian cinema. The kind of talent that he has when it comes to projecting senior heroes with the best possible output is beyond ordinary.

Now something interesting is happening with regard to the recent film from Nelson, which happened to be with superstar Rajinikanth in the form of Jailer 2.

This film had an intense narrative surrounding Rajinikanth and there is also an interesting romantic track that is executed with Vidya Balan. This stands to be one of the main highlights of the film.

This romantic track is not physical in nature, but it is a smartly written peace surrounding Rajinikanth and his aura. Even this track is eventually used to elevate the character of Rajinikanth and it has its few cute moments.

Ideally, it should have been tough to process a visual where a 75 year old actor does any kind of romantic or related sequences in the film. But the way in which Nelson handles it in a lighthearted yet and extremely entertaining manner is to be noted here.

This is the kind of smart writing that is expected when a director is working with a senior star, and this is perhaps another lesson to other language film makers who are working with senior stars.

It is evident that Nelson has mastered the craft of making quality commercial films with superstar Rajinikanth, and this is the second time that he has delivered after Jailer.
