**NTR Clears the Air on 'Devara' Pre-Release Event and Reflects on Film's Success**
NTR recently addressed the buzz around the pre-release event of his blockbuster film **'Devara'**, directed by **Koratala Siva** and starring **Janhvi Kapoor** as the female lead. Despite high anticipation, NTR confirmed that no pre-release event for 'Devara' is happening, citing key reasons behind this decision. The movie, which has taken the box office by storm, is a massive hit, and during a special segment titled the **'Blockbuster Journey of Devara'**, NTR and Koratala Siva shared intriguing details about the film and the thought process behind several of its elements.
NTR revealed that due to **Dussehra Navratri celebrations** in the Telugu states, obtaining permits for outdoor fan events has been difficult. "The fans have carried me for 24 years. I can never forget the love you've shown me for 'Devara.' While I may never be able to repay your support in this lifetime, I can promise one thing: it's my responsibility to make you proud, to make you turn up your collar in pride. I am forever indebted to you for backing this film and breathing new life into it," he expressed with heartfelt gratitude.
### Why 'Dawoodi Song' Was Removed
Addressing the topic of removing the **'Dawoodi' song** from the final cut of 'Devara,' NTR explained that strict **censorship permissions** are required when adding or changing any part of a film. "It takes time to make those changes across five languages. The decision to remove the song was made by the entire team, including myself. The pace of the film gradually increases, and inserting 'Dawoodi' at that moment would have disrupted the flow. While everyone loves to see me dance, we felt that taking the song out served the story better."
### Crafting 'Ayudhapuja' Song Under Pressure
NTR also shared an interesting anecdote about the making of the **'Ayudhapuja' song**, which had to be created on short notice. Music director **Anirudh Ravichander** was in the U.S. at the time but managed to send the tune for the song just two days before its scheduled shoot. Renowned lyricist **Ramajogayya Sastry** penned the lyrics in just an hour, showcasing his brilliance. "That’s why we call him the son of Saraswati," NTR praised. The song, choreographed by **Ganesh Acharya**, was completed quickly, and NTR emphasized that there was no intention of imitating his legendary grandfather. "We didn’t even realize it until fans pointed it out after the release of the song."
### No Calculations, Just Enjoy the Movie
NTR also touched upon the increasing tendency for viewers to watch films with preconceived calculations and comparisons. "Nowadays, it's become easy to dismiss a film by saying 'no,' and negativity has grown. People are comparing and overanalyzing films. But the true essence of a movie can only be felt when you lose yourself in the story." He added that even his sons, **Abhay** and **Bhargav**, enjoy films without overthinking. NTR encouraged fans to immerse themselves in the narrative instead of focusing on comparisons.
As for the criticism regarding **Janhvi Kapoor's** role being brief, NTR assured fans that her character's love story with Thangam will be further explored in **'Devara 2'**, promising even more depth and emotion in the sequel.
