Some directors even told her she should try Tollywood instead; Bollywood seemed tough to crack. But then she dropped a post that left fans doing a double-take: one of her movies is trending #3. Yep, really.

She shared updates from Netflix about Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari: “2 weeks in the top 10,” “top 10 in 12 countries,” and “trending #3 globally for non-English movies.” Fans were a little relieved. Even if the theatre numbers weren’t great, the film is finding a life somewhere else. Not #1, but still, something to celebrate.

On the Tollywood front, she has a big project lined up. Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has her playing Achiyyamma. The first single, Chikiri Chikiri, already went viral. The second single is on the way. In the first song, her glamourous look and that unmistakable South-vibe styling grabbed a lot of attention online. Fans are loving it.
