Direction Gone, Now Acting On The Cards?

The name Jason Sanjay has created quite a ripple when it was announced that he’s making his film debut as a director. Because he happens to be the son of Superstar Vijay, and usually star kids tend to make their debut as heroes, but he came as a filmmaker. After the failure of this highly anticipated debut film ‘Sigma’, equations changed, however.

Now that his direction game is over, reports are coming that he’s getting ready to debut as a hero now. Once again, Lyca Productions will be jumping in to produce the debut acting film of Jason Sanjay, and that will be mounted on a good scale only. Unlike any short-budget kind, this film will be bankrolled with almost a 40-crore budget on paper, and might go up as well during the shoot. However, they don’t want to make an announcement until the first copy is ready, they say.

There are many times, usually, star kids debut as actors only, and even if their debut doesn’t work, they will get a turnaround with a couple of movies. But Jason Sanjay did the other way round, by making his debut as a director, and now that the first attempt is over, many are wondering if Vijay’s son will take up another directorial venture or not.
