JD Chakravarthy’s Terrific Satire On ‘VFX’ Diggers

Promoting the film “Gayapadda Simham,” where he’s playing the role of a villain, former hero JD Chakravarthy is occupying most of the space on social media. Apparently, his comments on various aspects of filmmaking, fandom, and the current theories that are trending on social media are actually going viral. This time, he took a dig at the gang that digs into the VFX of the film and makes some dark claims on the net.
When the film “The Raja Saab” was released on OTT, many diggers delved deep into the Visual Effects of the movie. They have found that at some places, Prabhas has used dupes, and only his head got replaced in the post-production, and they alleged that this is nothing but cheating. While responding to such talk, JD Chakravarthy came out quite boldly. “While some audience points out that some heroes are not coming to sets, and managing with body doubles and later swapping for their face in VFX, don’t you think the producers don’t know about that?” asked JD. He further added that producers invest money in those heroes because those heroes have a market. “When those who are investing the money are not feeling the pain, why are we talking about it?” he asked.
He further added, “Audience watches the film if they like the content, and they don’t if they don’t like it. They don’t care about the VFX done for the beard, or the head swap. Why are you beating your heads when producers and audience are okay with that?” Also, the actor-director commented that when the production house itself is claiming that they took 6 months to wrap the VFX of the film, they are already saying that they used VFX, so don’t waste time on discussing that.
