Devara 2 Not Shelved, NTR-Koratala Await Perfect Timing

Rumours were everywhere that Jr. NTR starring Devara 2 might be shelved, and fans were worried sick. But the truth is, the film is very much on the cards. Jr. NTR, who has appeared last Bollywood movie War 2, is busy right now shooting with Kannada director Prashant Neel, and he is unable to take time for Devara 2.

The main reason for the delay is simple. NTR asked Koratala Siva to finish another film first before starting the sequel. Koratala has already started talking to a young hero for his next project, but nothing is locked in yet. Most of the big young stars are tied up, so that film might take time, which pushes back Devara 2 indirectly.

Right now, only NTR and Koratala know when the cameras will roll again. Everyone else, including fans, is just waiting and guessing. They seem to be taking their time, probably making sure everything is perfect before the shoot starts.

The first Part of Devara was a huge hit in Tollywood with amazing collections, starring Janhvi Kapoor and collected around worldwide Rs 421 crores, including North America. With that amazing response from the fans, expectations are sky-high for the second part.
