NTR Dodged Buchi Babu, But Caught By Prashanth!

Junior NTR is one of the most talented actors in South Indian cinema, and perhaps even an Indian cinema. The kind of range that he has an actor is pretty extraordinary. So there was this constant demand from fans for him to work with a talented start Director, and it is finally happening with the case of Prashanth Neel.

In order to materialise this project, NTR had to step away the film with Buchi Babu, which was in interior consideration for a long time. In the end, Buchi Babu worked out a project with Ram Charan and it has been introduction for nearly 2 years.

While everyone thought NTR might have a bullet with Buchi Babu, it is now established that he is fighting himself in another situation now.

The problem has been with the fact that Prashanth has also been shooting for this film nearly a year now. But it is reported that less than 50% of the shooting has been completed till now, and there is a lot more pending footage left to be shot.

This would essentially mean that the film will not be releasing in 2026, either, and it could potentially be pushed to next year. Even then, Prashanth will need adequate time for post production, so we can’t be certain of a 2027 release either.

This is not NTR would have been expecting from Prashanth, who had delivered blockbusters like KGF and Salaar. NTR would have expected to complete this project at the earliest and move on to the next project, but he has been locked up with this for already a year and he could have to be spending another year at least.
