Bad News for NTR Fans

After the success of Devara, fans have been eagerly waiting for Jr NTR's next big film. The actor is currently working with director Prashanth Neel on the much-awaited action film Dragon. However, the latest update has come as disappointing news for his fans.

According to reports, as Jr NTR has suffered a shoulder injury and doctors have advised him to take complete rest. The actor is currently recovering at his home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He is also undergoing regular physiotherapy to help his shoulder heal properly.

Doctors have reportedly asked NTR to avoid shooting and other work for the next six to eight weeks. Because of this, the production of Dragon has been paused for some time. The film's team has decided to wait until the actor fully recovers before restarting the shoot.

One of the major changes is the cancellation of the planned Sri Lanka shooting schedule. The team was expected to film a romantic song featuring Jr NTR and actress Rukmini Vasanth in the beautiful locations of Sri Lanka. That schedule has now been postponed due to the actor's injury.

The makers are expected to resume filming either in late September or early October, depending on NTR's recovery. The team is hopeful that the actor will return to work only after getting complete medical clearance.

In Dragon, Jr NTR is said to be playing a powerful assassin named Luger. The story reportedly revolves around opium smuggling and drug wars, making it one of the most ambitious action films in his career. The movie is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts.

Even though the shooting has been delayed, the makers are confident that the temporary break will not affect the film's planned theatrical release in June 2027.
