Tamil Media Heaps Praises On Kaantha

Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati starrer period drama Kaantha will be arriving in cinemas tomorrow, while premiere show in Hyderabad will be screened today.
Before that, the team screened a special premiere for Tamil media yesterday. Leading critics lauded the film’s captivating writing, remarkable performances, and outstanding technical finesse.
Sridevi Sreedhar awarded Kaantha a 4/5 rating, describing Dulquer Salmaan as “the heart and soul of this film.” She praised Dulquer’s effortless emotional range, called the first half “extremely gripping,” and likened the latter part to a “Hitchcock-style investigation”.
Ramesh Bala, a prominent box office analyst, predicted that Dulquer Salmaan could "win a National Award for Acting" thanks to his moving performance. Bala also commended the film’s authentic depiction of 1950s Madras and its "technically superior" aesthetic.
Rinku Gupta gave an impressive 4.5/5, terming "Kaantha" a "riveting period drama and thrilling whodunnit with an emotional core." She highlighted Dulquer as the “show-stealer” and praised the soul-stirring performances of Rana Daggubati and Bhagyashri Borse.
The excitement for Telugu premiere and theatrical release has doubled with such unanimous response.
