There is no stopping 'Kalki 2898 AD' as the film is going on a rampage run at the box office. It is shattering records in North America and rest of the world. The collections have been phenomenal over the weekend and the trade pundits are claiming that it is going to take the No.1 spot within no time.

It hit the $11 million mark in the first weekend in North America and distributors officially released these numbers. It beats the records created by 'Baahubali 2' and the advance bookings on Sunday itself were more than $590K. In four days, the movie crossed the 500 crore mark worldwide. The makers released the official 500 crores poster on Sunday itself.

With no big releases arriving for the next 10 days, the exceptional run is expected to continue. Though the collections may dip a bit on working days, the numbers are still going to be big according to analysts. The ticket prizes will also return to normal in Telugu states in the next few days and this will lead to more footfalls and families are expected to arrive to theatres with normal prizes. The distributors overseas as well as in the Indian belt are very happy with how things have turned out.
