Fans of Prabhas are on cloud nine lately. Their hero's 'Salaar' turned out to be a success as it collected around 700 crores. Now, the team of his upcoming film 'Kalki 2898 AD' announced the release date. As we know, the makers have started a count where we can see the date changing constantly. It stopped finally at 2898 AD and the team revealed that they will be arriving in theatres on 9th May 2024.

They officially announced it through a poster where we can see Prabhas with long and a body armour. The dystopian backdrop and sunlight at the back implies that Prabhas is going to be the saviour of everyone. The team says, "The story that ended 6000 years ago. Begins on May 9th, 2024. The future unfolds." Fans are loving these constant updates from the team and they can't wait to see what Nag Ashwin has created with such a huge ensemble of actors.

The glimpse generated a huge response and the inclusion of big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hassan, Deepika Padukone and others raised the expectations to a whole new level. The makers are planning to release it on an international scale. 'Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari' released on the same date in the 90s. It is considered lucky for 'Vyjayanthi Productions' banner.
