It is without a doubt that 'Kalki 2898 AD' is one of the costliest films made in India. Touted to be an enthralling experience for movie lovers, there are massive expectations on this project which is all set to hit the screens worldwide on 27th June. The two trailers, the videos of Nag Ashwin explaining the worlds and story of the film along with the promotional song have increased the hype.

There is a lot of buzz on this film and Nag Ashwin is bringing us something that we have never seen before on the Indian screen. There is a lot of talk surrounding the remunerations of the actors in this film. Reportedly, Prabhas is getting a massive 150 crores remuneration for his gigantic flick while Deepika Padukone is charging 20 crores. Legendary actors like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan are taking 20 crores each according to reports while Disha Patani is given 5 crores.

Including the other cast members and technicians, insiders reveal that the producer spent around 250 crores on remunerations alone. The whole budget of the movie is over 600 crores. On the whole, the movie needs to get a sum of 385 crores from theatres across the globe to touch the breakeven while the satellite and digital rights were sold for massive rates.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is set to be the biggest cinematic event of the year. Dulquer Salman is reportedly playing a special role in this movie as well. This is the biggest film to be ever made under the 'Vyjayanthi Movies' banner and they are taking it very seriously. Ashwini Dutt is the movie's producer. As we know, legendary Amitabh Bachchan and top star Deepika Padukone are playing major roles in this movie. Kamal Haasan will also be seen in this movie. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer while Djordje Stojilijkovic is the director of photography.
