'Kalki' In June & 'Salaar 2' in Summer 2025 For Prabhas?
The latest sources claim that the makers have eyeing to arrive on 20th June.
There has been a lot of discussion going on about the release date of Prabhas upcoming science fiction drama 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, this film was supposed to hit the screens on 9th May but the elections in Telugu states have forced them to change the release date. The latest sources claim that the makers have eyeing to arrive on 20th June.
Though there were reports of the release date being on 30th May, insiders reveal that it is going to be pushed further. Set in a dystopian era, the movie is being made on a grand budget by Vyjayanthi Movies. It is going to be the costliest film in Indian cinema. It explores themes of Hindu mythology, the reincarnation of lord Vishnu and the future world. Releasing in multiple languages, Prabhas plays the role of Bhairava in the movie.
He is also going to do 'Salaar 2 – Shouryangaparvam'. Prithviraj Sukumar hinted that the shooting may start by the end of this year and some parts were already shot during the production of the first part. Sources say that the second part of 'Salaar' is going to hit the screens in the summer of 2025. At the same time, 'Spirit' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga is also going to start in December 2024 as the director himself revealed in a latest interview.
Currently, he is working on 'Raja Saab' under the direction of Maruthi. It is a fun entertainer with a few good thrills and action. Thaman is the music composer and Prabhas is expected to be seen in a mass avatar.
