'Kalki' Sets A New Record By Becoming The Lowest!

'Kalki 2898 AD' has been setting new records even before it was released. The pre-sales in the overseas market and the advance bookings on BookMyShow have been phenomenal. Even after its release, it collected a gross of 191.5 crores on the first day and gathered a sum of over 900 crores worldwide till date.

On its 13th day, the movie earned 9 crores according to Sacnilk and the total collections in India amounted to 529.45 crores. On Day 13, 'Kalki' got 5.75 crores from the Hindi version and 2.05 crores from the Telugu states while the other versions brought 1.2 crores respectively.

On its first week, the film got 414 crores in India with the Telugu version alone bringing 212.25 crores while the Hindi dubbed version collected 162.5 crores. The Tamil version got 23 crores while the Malayalam version got 14.2 crores. The Kannada version brought 2.8 crores. Vyjayanthi Movies officially confirmed that it collected more than 900 crores worldwide and it is the 10th Indian film to achieve this mark.

But when it comes to second Monday collections, 'Kalki' stood way below other films. Back in 2016, Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' got 13.45 crores on its second Monday. 'Baahubali 2' got 30 crores while 'RRR' got 20.3 crores. 'KGF 2' collected 20.3 crores on the second Monday while 'Jawan' got 19.1 crores. 'Kalki 2898 AD' collected way less than these films on the second Monday and it will be interesting to see if this film touches the 1000 crore mark or not. There is 'Indian 2' releasing on a grand scale this weekend and let us see what happens.
