'Kalki 2898 AD' Spends 3 Crores For A 12-Second Ad!

If there is one film for which the entire nation is hyped up, it is 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The expectations are gigantic for this science fiction project. Pan-Indian star Prabhas is playing the lead role and there is interesting information revealed about the cost of its promotion.

As per reports, around 3 crores were spent on a 12-second advertisement that was shown on television during an IPL match. A source revealed, “The makers spent 3 crores for a 12-second ad during an IPL match. Being a multilingual film set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and other languages, the producers didn't hesitate to invest heavily in promoting their film during an IPL match which can attract 60-100 million viewers depending on the teams playing thus ensuring significant exposure.”

He added, “Prabhas has been doing his best to sustain interest around his film and he is excited about doing a science fiction movie for the first time in his career.” There are giant expectations on this movie which is all set to hit the screens on 27th June 2024.

People are pinning a lot of hope on this massive film starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and others in the lead. Fans are estimating that it would cross the openings of 'Baahubali', 'KGF' and 'RRR' with ease. With the movie releasing on 27th June, the promotional campaign has already started.
