What Is The Target Of 'Kalki 2898 AD' On The First Day?

Rebel Star Prabhas has created and shattered numerous records in the past few years. Even with his failures, he collected huge numbers. But there is one record which he created that he himself is unable to break. That is the 200 crore opening day collections. 'Baahubali 2' which arrived in the combination of SS Rajamouli and Prabhas minted over 200 crores on the first day.

Rajamouli's next film 'RRR' featuring NTR and Charan has also crossed the 200 crores gross mark. But Prabhas failed to touch that mark once again after 'Baahubali 2'. His movies like 'Saaho', 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Aadipurush' failed to touch that mark. Many expected his last outing 'Salaar' to achieve this record with ease but it failed as well.

But the movie did not get good openings in overseas and a few other languages. The competition with 'Dunki' did not help either. It is the turn of 'Kalki 2898 AD' now and there is a lot of confidence among the fans that it will get more than 200 crores on its opening day. Along with Prabhas, this movie has Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone playing key roles. There are cameos from many other actors as well and the expectations are quite high.

The ticket rates were increased a lot which helps the film in getting huge numbers at the box office. There are no big movies in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and other languages as well. Even the North audience are eagerly waiting for this film. With everything going in favor of 'Kalki 2898 AD', let us see if it touches that mark or not.
