Disasters in retirement stage: What's Superstar Thinking?

Kamal Haasan has always been one of the most talented and gifted actors in South Indian cinema. However, the problem with him has been his script selection in recent years as it has been a really long time since he delivered a proper winning experience.

There was indeed this Vikram with Director Lokesh Kanagaraj in the middle, but this was entirely the work of the director who created masterpiece Cinema with Kamal Haasan.

However, despite the tremendous success of this film, the better Kamal Haasan could not follow it up with substantial success as he continued to make below average films that did not work at the box office and added more pressure on him.

More recently, Kamal delivered to his historic disasters in the form of Indian 2 and Thug Life. Both these films have turned out to be such huge disasters at the box office, that people are doubting if it is time for Kamal to retire from films and relax.

However, considering the kind of individual that Kamal Haasan is, we can expect him to continue to strive to make a good cinema, but the problem is always going to be with finding the right Directors and scripts.

Now that both his attempts have been outrightly rejected at the box office, it has to be seen how Kamal would bounce back from this situation.
