Bunny Vas Says MS Biopic Gives Purpose To Producing Journey
Bunny Vas said he has produced nearly 25 films that have seen both successes and failures, but for a long time he kept wondering about the real purpose of becoming a producer.
The prestigious pan-India biopic on Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi was grandly launched at the iconic Music Academy in Chennai on the legendary singer's 110th birth anniversary. Produced by Allu Aravind, Rockline Venkatesh, and Bunny Vas, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as M.S. Subbulakshmi, is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The event was attended by Kamal Haasan, Suhasini, Sivakumar, Mahendran, Samuthirakani, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Rajendran, Katragadda Prasad, M.S. Subbulakshmi's grandson Chandrasekhar, his wife Mala, members of M.S. Amma's family, and several renowned Carnatic musicians. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan officially launched the project and gave the ceremonial clap for the first shot.
Speaking at the launch, producer Bunny Vas expressed his gratitude to M.S. Subbulakshmi Amma's family, especially Srinivasan, Chandrasekhar, and every family member who supported the team in bringing this dream project to life. He credited Allu Aravind and Rockline Venkatesh for bringing everyone together to make the biopic a reality.

Amma's life deeply inspiring, Bunny Vas said she dedicated all her success to God while living a simple life, and added that producing this biopic is one of the rarest and greatest honors of his life.
