Politics Should Be in the Hands of Good People, Says Kamal Haasan

Veteran actor and politician Kamal Haasan continues to champion the idea of ethical and inclusive politics. In a recent statement, he stressed his belief that "good people" should be at the forefront of political leadership, moving power away from established interests.

Haasan, founder of the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party, has consistently challenged the status quo in Indian politics. He argues that entrenched dynasties and special interests currently hold undue sway, stifling democratic participation. "Politics shouldn't be the exclusive domain of a few families or parties," Haasan declared. "It should be accessible to the good people, the true pillars of our democracy."

Beyond his political activism, Haasan has also been enjoying success on the silver screen. His recent cameo in the sci-fi film "Kalki 2898 AD" received praise from both fans and critics. Adding to the excitement, the trailer for his highly anticipated film "Indian 2" has captivated audiences. The film, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, and Siddharth, is slated for release on July 12th.
