Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is one of the busiest people in the film industry right now. He was seen in promotions of 'Kalki 2898 AD' and immediately became busy with the trailer launch and interviews for his upcoming film 'Indian 2'. While people were still in awe of his look in 'Kalki', he is talking about 'Indian 2' and he will soon work on the next schedule of 'Thug Life' as well.

Talking about 'Indian 2', it is getting released on 12th July. The trailer came out recently and it got a mixed response. But Kamal Haasan is sounding quite confident regarding the film. Talking about the theories floating around on social media regarding the story of 'Indian 2', he said, “There are many stories floating on Twitter and other places. But none guessed the stories of part 2 and part 3 correctly. I am happy about that. There are enough stories on social media that can be picked for a film. I love all these conspiracy theories. Not just for films, there are conspiracy theories for elections as well.”

Regarding his iconic role Senapathy, he said, "Apart from the award and reward, there's a certain amount of calm that he (Senapthy) has given me. Because the collective anger is still there in a lava stage, ready for explosion. This kind of outlet will make them understand this is not the way to go. There are other ways. But you will have to practice it in your life. Rather than expecting a vigilante to come and do it, every one of us will have to be on the vigil. Otherwise, it's not going to work, one man talking about corruption."

Lyca Productions banner is bankrolling this project. Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani and others play key roles in this film. 'Indian' which was released back in 1996 was a sensational hit that made Shankar one of the top directors in South India.
