Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam delivered a classic like 'Nayagan' three decades ago and the hero-director duo have teamed up after three decades for an epic action drama titled 'Thug Life'. The expectations over this film are sky-high as two legendary personalities of Indian cinema have come together. This is Kamal's 234th film and we know that Trisha and Jayam Ravi are already onboard for this project.
The team have also announced the arrival of top actors Joju George and Gautham Karthik. They will be essaying crucial roles in 'Thug Life'. Now, the makers have revealed a huge news by introducing STR aka Silambarasan as the 'New Thug In Town'. They said, “In the realms of Dust, a New Thug Arises!” Simbu arrives in a desert with sand thrown all over. With sunglasses on, he is seen aiming the gun towards the camera. He looks quite stylish and fans can't wait to see what role the crazy hero plays in this much-awaited project.
As we know, AR Rahman is composing the music for this film while Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer. Anbariv is choreographing the fights and it is Sreekar Prasad who is the editor. Mani Ratnam is the writer and director of this film along with being the co-producer. The shooting is currently going on and the makers have announced the main cast of the movie long back. The movie may be released by the end of 2024.
