Kantara The Legend has become a huge Pan-India success as it talks about traditional Bootha Kola from tribal Karnataka villages. The movie inspired many to visit the events and bask in devotional glory. Now, the makers are bringing prequel, Kantara Chapter 1, that explores the origin of the tradition.


On this special occasion, Union Government have unveiled Bootha Kola inspired special Indian postal covers and postcards. For giving such a rich tribute to the ancient culture and tradition, makers have extended their gratitude to Union Minister of Communications, Shri. Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Rishab Shetty, who won National award for his performance, has acted, written and directed the prequel as well. He remarked that he gave five years to both the films and feels like he completed the story. With heavy expectations, the Hombale films production, is releasing on 2nd October in multiple languages.
