Character Artist Supports Sivaji, Slams Anasuya For Glam Dresses

Though actor Shivaji has apologised for his comments regarding the dresses of heroines, he felt that his choice of words was not good, but his intention is very clear and honest. Some don't accept even this apology for obvious reasons, but then, there is character artist Karate Kalyani, who actually supported Shivaji in this aspect.

Speaking on the same, Karate Kalyani, who has appeared in numerous films, and is known for her outspoken nature, stated that Shivaji didn’t speak anything with malicious intent; instead, she believes that there was some truth in what he said. “He failed to speak polishedly, and whatever he said is the thought of many in society, even if they don’t voice it publicly.

At the same time, Kalyani took a dig at Anasuya Bharadwaj, who had earlier responded to Shivaji’s remarks, saying that it’s their body and their wish. Kalyani criticised Anasuya for her stance and glamorous dressing in public events, which attracts attention and sets a bad precedent in society. She even went on asking if Anasuya would be fine if her grown-up boys wandered with girls who are scantily dressed.

While the likes of Anasuya and Chinmayi are advising that women should have freedom of what to wear and when, Karate Kalyani felt that society is going into a drastic, draconian mode in the name of western advancement and she’s worried about the future of Telugu states a decade later.
