Kaithi 2 Sparks Chaos With Fresh Shelved Speculation

Karthi is out promoting Vaa Vaathiyaar, or Annagaru Vostaru for Telugu folks, and the film was supposed to drop this Friday. In the middle of all the interviews, he ended up talking about everything except just the new movie. People kept pulling him back to older stuff, especially that one sequel fans won’t let go of.

About Annagaru Vostaru, he said something that honestly sounded pretty raw. The script shook him the first time, his words were, “felt like walking on a knife-edge.” Not the usual actor talk. Only the second narration calmed him down. That little confession stuck because it didn’t sound rehearsed.

And then, of course, the Kaithi 2 question arrived. It always does. Everyone remembers how Kaithi pushed Lokesh Kanagaraj into the spotlight, after Maanagaram, it was the real boom moment. When someone asked Karthi again, he just gave a tired smile and said, “I don’t know, the only update I don’t know is Kaithi 2.” Fans aren’t even angry now; they’re just in that “bro, at least say something” zone.

One theory floating around is that Lokesh is fully locked into his acting debut, DC. Arun Matheswaran is directing it. Lokesh is playing Devadas, Wamiqa Gabbi is Chandra, and the guy is literally living on that set. Maybe that’s why Kaithi 2 or even Vikram 2 hasn’t moved an inch.
