Kartikeya Gummakonda Makes Directorial Debut With Boxing Drama Comeback

Kartikeya Gummakonda is all set to make a strong return to the big screen with an interesting new project. The actor, who became popular with the film RX 100, has now announced his next movie titled Comeback. The film is special for more than one reason. Kartikeya will not only play the lead role but will also direct the movie for the first time.

The title and first glimpse of Comeback were released on September 21, on the occasion of Kartikeya’s birthday. The film is being produced by Lohitha Reddy under the Kartikeya Creative Works banner.

The first glimpse gives a clear idea that Comeback will be a boxing-based drama. Instead of showing the hero directly, the glimpse begins with a serious conversation about a boxer who has been away from the sport for several years.

The voices in the background discuss the boxer’s long absence. They wonder whether he has left boxing and started doing something else.
