Finally, Karunakaran Gets A Telugu Film!

After making his debut with the film “Tholiprema”, featuring Pawan Kalyan, back in 1998, director Karunakaran became a cult filmmaker who would go on to carve out some interesting love stories. His later films, like Sumanth’s Yuvakudu, Venkatesh’s Vasu, Pawan Kalyan’s Balu, Allu Arjun’s Happy, and Prabhas’ Darling, have become cult movies. However, later on, his films with outdated and borrowed Hollywood ideas haven’t clicked.

With most of his movies in the last decade ending up as flops, Karunkaran hasn’t had any big changes from big heroes. After some waiting, he’s expected to direct a mega hero, but that too didn’t materialise. But finally, it is coming out that the talented love story maker will be directing young hero Ganesh Bellamkonda, the younger son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Already Ganesh tried his luck with two films, but they didn’t work out, and now he has pinned all hopes on this movie that will be launched on April 15th. There’s another spice to add.

None other than Anudeep KV, whose crappy punchlines have sort of become popular amongst the cringe-loving crowds, is providing dialogues for this movie. However, with the Funky movie not working out at the Box Office, it looks like his addition will not be bringing the punch as expected. Anyway, admirers of Karunakaran are hoping that the director makes a strong comeback.
