1st Bonus For Trisha’s Film Under Vijay As CM!

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay created history by becoming the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu and he happens to be one of the first actors to become the chief minister in this generation.

In the meanwhile, something interesting has happened with regard to the Tamil cinema policy making immediately after Vijay became the new chief minister of the state.

The first film to release under the chief ministerial duties of Thalapathy Vijay is Suriya’s Karuppu. This film is preparing for its release in theatres on May 14, and it has applied for special permissions from the government of Tamil Nadu, which were approved rather shortly.

The government of Tamil Nadu under the leadership of chief minister Vijay has approved special shows starting at 9 AM for this film, and this happens to be one of the first times that special shows are permitted in Tamil Nadu.

This is a strong indication from the Vijay government regarding the helping hand that will be given for film industry. Another interesting observation here is that this Surya film has Trisha in one of the lead roles, and she to be a crucial member of Vijay’s team as well.

Ironically enough, it is Trisha’s film, which is the first big Tamil film release after Vijay became the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu and fate had a very interesting plot here.

Vijay’s Government has approved the petition filed by the makers of the Surya and Trisha’s film as they’ve approved the bill to employ additional shows and special events.
