Tamil actress Keerthy Suresh, who has worked in many genres from romantic to thriller, but she recently appeared in the dark comedy Uppu Kappurambu, opened up about just how tricky it is to pull off comedy on screen.
In a recent chat, she said, “Comedy is honestly the hardest thing. Making someone laugh? Not easy. But my role in this film felt close to who I am. Shooting these scenes under pressure? Somehow, it’s refreshing. You don’t just rehearse lines ten times, you kind of live it, stumble through it, and hope it works.”
Keerthy added that working in comedy gives a different kind of energy compared to her usual genre films and making the audience laugh is again new story. It’s messy, fun, and full of surprises. Fans noticed how naturally she balanced humor with her emotions on screen.
