Keerthy’s Logic Behind Doing Small Roles

Whether that is a special song like Yeshanagula in The Paradise or something like that of a short role, a blink-and-miss appearance in Jaathiratnalu and Manmadhudu 2, Malayalam beauty Keerthy Suresh has done it all. The actress also does small-budget movies, and then picks up some big-budget films where she will be seen only as the heroine, but not the main lead. The actress has a logic behind this.
“I’ve done a lot of small roles in some movies, and then appeared in some films only as the heroine. But I’ve done them intentionally because that will bring me lots of exposure and lots of audiences will know me easily,” said Keerthy Suresh. Though the actress shot to super fame with a movie like Mahanati, she stated that it took her years to get good movies after that. She felt that as an actress, one should take up any role, whether that is smaller or bigger.
On the other hand, some actresses believe that doing guest roles and doing small films will kill their image and also their big paychecks. But then, there are heroines like Keerthy Suresh whose acting potential is terrific; hence, that wouldn’t really affect whatever role she takes up. Also, Keerthy won’t do heavy glamour on screen, and that kind of creates another image for her; that’s why even doing item songs will not be a worry for her image.
