Recent reports confirm that Vijay Deverakonda is traveling to Sri Lanka for the movie’s next schedule.;

Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming film Kingdom has been making waves ever since its teaser was released in February. The teaser took the audience into the middle of a war with Jr NTR's voice.
While little is revealed about Vijay's character, he's shown in the teaser fighting someone with a police shield protecting him in one scene. Another scene shows him surrounded by prisoners in jail with him also wearing the prison uniform. It ends with his character saying, “I will do anything needed, sir, including destroying everything.”
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is set against a historical backdrop rumored to explore the Sri Lankan civil war.

In Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda is expected to portray a rebel leader who fights against the injustices of the Sri Lankan army. Whether the movie directly addresses the LTTE conflict will only be revealed once it hits theaters on May 30th.
The film features Bhagyashri Borse, known for her role in Mr. Bachchan as the female lead. Produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner, Kingdom is set for a grand pan Indian release.
