Indraputra: Kiran Abbavaram biggie with Zee Studios & Prerna Arora

Kiran Abbavaram has announced another interesting project following his recent hat-trick of successes. The actor scored back-to-back wins with KA, K-Ramp and Chennai Love Story, with each film belonging to a different genre. While KA was a thriller, K-Ramp was a mass entertainer and Chennai Love Story explored an emotional romantic story. Kiran's ability to move between different genres has become a notable aspect of his career.

Continuing this trend, the actor is now venturing into the mythological space with KA15, titled Indraputra. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, with debutant Srikanth Puppala directing the project. The makers have described Indraputra as the first chapter of an expansive mythological universe, with plans to create a large cinematic world inspired by Indian mythology.

The story draws inspiration from the eternal battle between dharma and adharma and combines mythology, action, fantasy and emotion. Kiran Abbavaram will be seen in a powerful new avatar in the film. The project is currently in pre-production and principal photography will begin in October. The makers are planning to release the film worldwide next year as a major pan-India spectacle.

Kiran currently has several interesting projects in his lineup, including KA13, KA14 under the Sukumar Writings banner and a film with Joy Films. With Indraputra, he is once again choosing a completely different genre rather than repeating his recent successes. The story is by Keerthan and the screenplay is by Tanvi N Dutta. Keerthan and Kussum Arora are the co-producers, while further details about the cast and technical team will be announced soon.
