Trailer Talk: Rural Drama With Commercial Appeal!

The Telugu audience have always been very receptive of quality rural dramas and we have another new outing in the form of Kothapallilo Okappudu now. The trailer for the film has been released and here is what we have to say about the same now.

The trailer of Kothapallilo Okappudu, presented by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, is out now. This village-based romantic comedy is directed by Praveena Paruchuri, who earlier worked on films like C/O Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. She is also producing the film under Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts and plays an important role in it.

The story is about Rama Krishna, a happy-go-lucky man who runs a local record dance studio. He is in love with Savitri, and she knows about his feelings. One day, Savitri asks him to meet her at the haystack.

Rama Krishna thinks it will be a romantic moment, but something unexpected happens. From there, his life changes completely, and the story takes a thrilling turn with a possible divine connection.

Newcomers Manoj Chandra and Monika T play the lead roles and bring freshness to their characters. Ravindra Vijay and others support the story well. Gurukiran Bathula wrote the story and dialogues, which mix fun, love, and mystery.

The visuals by Petros Antoniadis look beautiful, and the background score by Varun Unni sets the right mood. Songs are composed by Mani Sharma. The film is set to release on July 18.
