Kriti Sanon's Bralette For Rakhi Ad, What?
Apparently, the ad is targeted at Raksha Bandhan, and her dressing for the ‘festival’ is now being deemed objectionable by connoisseurs of culture.
For the last two days, the one ad that’s creating more controversy, discussion and attention is none other than the happening star heroine Kriti Sanon’s latest for a jewellery brand that creates pieces for pets. Apparently, the ad is targeted at Raksha Bandhan, and her dressing for the ‘festival’ is now being deemed objectionable by connoisseurs of culture.
Apparently, Kriti appeared in a cream-coloured bralette in the ad, and as she ties a Rakhi to her brother, the dog barks, and she ties one for her dog too. While for conservatives, tying a Rakhi to a dog is objectionable, for pet lovers, that seems to be okay. At the same time, with Rakhi being a Hindu cultural festival, many are wondering why Bollywood humiliates Hindu festivals like this. They are literally sharpening their knives against this anti-Hindutva brigade.
That said, some are saying that women should have freedom to wear what they like, and Kriti’s bralette in the ad best describes the same. However, the culture brigade thinks that they can wear a bikini top on the beach but not in the living room when your brother is trying on the Rakhi. They say that Kriti Sanon should have objected to the costumes she was made to wear in the ad, rather than bending her head for the sake of money.
