Today marks the release of talented director KV Anudeep's latest film "Funky", which features Vishwaksen and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles. Before this movie, the director came up with movies like Jatiratnalu and featured in cameos in movies like MAD and others. Talking about his surname, the director has made some interesting revelations that are not only impressive but also thoughtful.

In fact, Anudeep's original surname is Dharagonda, which means he is D Anudeep as per the Aadhar Card; however, the director changed his first name to "KV" for a reason. "Many times we carry only a father's surname, and when anyone asks about our hometown, we say only our father's village name. I felt like somewhere our mothers are getting gross injustice, and after getting inspired by the writings of author Ranganayakamma, a staunch feminist, I've added "Kasi and Viswanath", the names of my mother and father, as my initials," said Anudeep.

From a director who makes cringe comedy and makes silly punches as his weapons on the silver screen, this type of philosophical and thoughtful touch is not even expected. People are hailing Anudeep for his off-screen philosophy and the way he respects women, and he carved out his initials for the same reason. From a man who delivers comedy all the time, this serious revelation is something moving his fans, too.

On the other hand, Anudeep stated that he loves to make the audience laugh, an emotion that's universal and hence makes these comedy films with funny undertones and non-serious subjects. Well, that's also the need of the hour.
