Lavanya Opens Up About 'Mega Kodalu' Tag!

Lavanya Tripathi who arrived as any other North Indian heroine into Tollywood back in 2012 has become the daughter-in-law of one of the most influential families in the Telugu film industry. We often talk about heroines quitting acting or playing more homely roles without any risk after getting married.

During the promotions of her upcoming web series 'Miss Perfect', Lavanya was asked about her future in acting and how she is adapting to life as 'Mega Kodalu'. Lavanya Tripathi explained that none of the family members laid any conditions on her regarding the roles she should be selecting. She confirmed that it wasn't the case prior to marriage and after the marriage as well. She claimed that she enjoys the freedom to do what she wants without any objections.

She even acknowledged the responsibility and limitations that come with 'Mega Kodalu' tag. She said that she is proud of what she earned under her name 'Lavanya Tripathi' but also pointed out the significance of what 'Mega daughter-in-law' tag holds. She praised her husband Varun Tej for being highly supportive and said that he is the best in many aspects. Her web series 'Miss Perfect' will be streaming on Disney + Hotstar from 2nd February. Abhijeet Duddala is the male lead while Lavanya plays the title role.

The supporting cast includes Abhignya Vuthaluru, Jhansi, Harsha Vardhan, Mahesh Vitta and others.
