Leo's Controversial Café Scene: Inspired or Imitated?

Ever since they began filming, LEO received a lot of attention, especially because it's considered part of a larger film universe. However, after it was released, the movie received mixed reviews. Meanwhile, Some people have been sharing clips from a movie called Gaayam 2, featuring Jagapathi Babu, and comparing it to LEO. They've pointed out that a scene in LEO, where a fight happens in a cafe, looks very similar to a scene in Gaayam 2. These critics are accusing the makers of LEO of copying Gaayam 2.

The truth is that both LEO and Gaayam 2 were inspired by a Hollywood movie called "A History Of Violence," which also has a similar cafe fight scene. "LEO" is an official remake, while "Gaayam 2" took inspiration from it.

That cafe fight scene in "LEO" was the most memorable part of the entire movie. Loki's direction, Anirudh's background music, the retro song, Anbariv's stunts, and Vijay's performance all made the scene intense and unforgettable.

However, some movie enthusiasts believe that since director Lokesh is known for his creativity, he could have made some changes to the scene to make it less similar to the original source material.
