In the world of South Indian cinema, anticipation is building as Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film, "Leo," gears up for its release in just two months. The collaboration between Vijay, a revered star in the industry, and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his unique storytelling, has generated massive excitement not only in their home state but also across Telugu-speaking regions.

Despite formidable competition, "Leo" has managed to secure an impressive foothold in the Telugu market. The film's clash with Balakrishna's "Bhagavanth Kesari" and Raviteja's "Tiger Nageswar Rao" on the same day and the following day respectively, hasn't deterred its appeal.

In fact, "Leo" is set to achieve a record-breaking feat in Vijay's career. Telugu distribution rights have been swiftly snapped up, with the Ceeded rights fetching a notable 4Cr. Furthermore, the Andhra region, spanning six territories, is estimated to contribute 11-12Cr, while the Nizam area is predicted to contribute around 7Cr.

This cumulative business is expected to hit the impressive 22Cr mark, marking a record for Vijay's movies and a significant achievement for dubbed films in the Telugu domain. "Leo" sees the dynamic duo of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj reuniting post their previous hit, "Master."

The film's creative prowess extends to Anirudh's music, Manoj Paramahamsa's camera work, and Philomin Raj's editing. Produced by 7 Screen Studio, "Leo" is all set to grace the silver screen on October 19.
