Ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has delivered movies like Karthi’s Kaithi, Rajni’s Coolie and Kamal’s Vikram, is now coming up with a film, where he will be featured as the lead actor. The teaser of this film titled “DC” is released today on the occasion of Valentine's Day. Here’s what the feedback is like regarding Lokesh’s acting prowess.

Calling him Bloody Valentine, today the teaser of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s first film as an actor, “DC” got released, and it’s impressive with visuals. While most parts of the teaser have bloodshed throughout, it’s Wamiqa Gabbi’s intense look that captures the attention of everyone. However, Lokesh Kanagaraj failed to put up an intense acting performance like heroes/actors in his directorial films. He didn’t have that strong emotive expression on his face in scenes where intensity speaks volumes.

Apparently, many are opining that Lokesh Kanagaraj should have done some light hearted film first rather than picking up this bloody thriller. That too, with the leading ladies proving to be more versatile, surely his acting prowess should be top-notch.

On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj completed this movie’s shooting long back, and he’s now working on the pre-production of his next directorial, which has pan-India star Allu Arjun in the lead.
