Director Sustains Injury While Promoting His Film!

Lokesh Kanakaraj visited a theatre in Kerala's Palakkad. However, the event did not go as planned as he suffered a minor injury in his leg.

Young director Lokesh Kanakaraj is on a roll. He is having a good time professionally with his films minting gold at the box office and getting critical acclaim as well. It is not an exaggeration to say that he is now among the top directors in the Tamil Industry.

His latest film Leo which was released as a festival treat had set the box office on fire and is seeing good collections. Across languages, Leo is attracting a good number of footfalls at the theatres. The makers of the film are enjoying the overwhelming response they are getting.

However, the director injured himself while promoting the film in God's Own country Kerala. Vijay's films enjoy a super success in Kerala and Leo did the same. Following this, a schedule was made for the director to visit three venues. However, he injured himself at a venue.

Lokesh Kanakaraj visited a theatre in Kerala's Palakkad. However, the event did not go as planned as he suffered a minor injury in his leg. The director announced this by himself on social media and said that he could not attend the remaining venues due to the injuries.

"Due to a small injury in the crowd, I couldn't make it to the other two venues and the press meeting. I would certainly come back to meet you all in Kerala again soon. Till then continue enjoying #Leo with the same love 🤗," the director said on X sharing a picture.

Leo directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj stars Vijay Thalapathy in the lead role. The action thriller has an ensemble cast of Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, George Maryan, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas and others. Leo is also a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
