Love & War: Bhansali’s Dhurandhar Coming?

Ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for grand sets, amazing drama, terrific emotions and on top of everything, a stunning romance. As he picked up Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal for his next, many thought that he’s coming up with another grand love story. However, after looking at the first look poster of Ranbir, the imagination just got beaten.

The first look of Ranbir Kapoor from LoveAndWar was released today, with the hero seated in an old 70s model car, driving, with his left hand fully soaked in blood. Undoubtedly, this looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s shot at Dhurandhar as a mass action drama, set in a foreign land, rather than his vintage historical fiction content. However, it’s coming out that the movie is about two army officers who fall in love with Alia Bhatt’s character in a foreign land.

The film is set for a massive release on 21st January 2027, and the makers want to get it released in Telugu as well, like how they did with Brahmastra. Anyway, after the success of Animal in Telugu as well, surely Ranbir would be more than upbeat about this film’s Telugu release.

On the other hand, Bollywood is waiting for the right film after Dhurandhar 2, and none of the biggies has worked out later, though some of them got a couple of hundred crores in collection.
