Attending this film’s event as a Chief Guest, director Anil Ravipudi stated that Vignesh’s idea of re-imagining the future in the current context is actually stunning. “Who knows, by 2040, there might be robots coming up in place of these film reporters and cameraman. The websites will be sending just robos to get the feed,” commented Anil Ravipudi. That’s a joke for sure, but then, there are already AI-tools that are grabbing content from the real media-meets, interviews and other data, and creating stories like humans to be published. But that’s what Anil Ravipudi should be worried about.
They say that already Artificial Intelligence is so rude that the likes of Deepseek, Gemini 3.0 and other image-generating engines are doing lots of things for films. There will be a day when a 2-hour fantasy film could be made with AI, and that’s likely to be done in just a couple of weeks. That affects lakhs of jobs in the film industry, and also filmmakers like Anil Ravipudi are affected. More than the journalists, it’s the creative folks who first get replaced or affected by the advancement of technology.
